Cutscenes are one of many features inside of Rooms & Doors. As of now there are 3 cutscenes.
Intro[]
The Intro is the first thing you will see in the game. It displays you in the ocean, with what looks like rusted buoys emitting light as you slowly reach the office. Sitting on a boat with 2 paddles, you eventually reach the abandoned office. You then get off the boat, and walk up to the metal door as the screen fades to black. The title shows up, and then there is more text after that. These words being:
"Abandon all hope, you who enter."
"They yearn for what they fear for."A-1000 (Ending)[]
Once the player opens A-1000, a cutscene will begin where the door will break down before falling off entirely. After this, you will proceed to fall into what seems to a be a void, with numerous particles and colors, before having your fall slowly be halted, where ground will emerge. Stairs will then appear, and the player will regain control of their character. Making it to the top of the stairs will reveal the Scanner next to 4 stone pillars. It's impossible to pick up the scanner here, though.
After the player walks past the scanner, a bridge made out of floating wood planks will emerge from below, setting up a long path. Along the path, you can see multiple doors on floating walls with their plates marked as "0000000000", along with a bright white glow coming out of it. One of these doors are at the end of the path.
Once you eventually reach and click on the door, you will be put back in a cutscene, and the door will open, only to reveal that a Guest has been sitting here, and has also been the one who has played the Death Screen. The death screen here is slightly different, being wood instead of black, and also displaying a number on the top of it. The camera will then zoom out of where the Death Screen is usually located, before panning over to your avatar. The screen will then fade to black.
"Huh?"
"You found me!"
The game will then display the title of the game, the same you see in the Main Menu.End Screen[]
After the A-1000 cutscene finishes and the screen fades to black, the game will proceed to show you a cutscene of most Death Screen tapes, along with the following text.
"a CJ4 Comedy"
"as Ping's Canvas"
"- Special Thanks - "
"Alice, Booz, Realcat, Popnika, Sevie"
After this, the game will show some of your stats, three of which can be viewed in the Memories section in the Main Menu.
"Deaths: XXX" which is how many times a player has died in total.
"Souls Collected: XXX" which is how many times a player used a computer as a Ghost.
"Doors Opened: XXX" which shows how many total doors the player has opened.
"Omegas: XXX" which shows how many times the player has reached and finished A-1000. The count for this will go up by 1 during this.
After this all, the game will display a final message:
"Thank you for Playing, even if you've gone through hell."Footage[]
