Pnevma/A-100 spawns after room A-100 and is regarded as the most hated entity in the game.
Entity Originality
The Entity's Original Name (According to some comments and models that are similar) was Jabber, if you don't think it's true go into Roblox studio and compare A-100 with Jabber. (unconfirmed)
Appearance
Pnevma takes on the appearance of a realistic floating skull with blacked-out eye sockets and bright white pupils. It will slowly traverse through the room(s), occasionally phasing through walls.
Mechanics
When it spawns, it constantly makes clicking sounds with its jaw, letting players know that it has spawned. Pnevma is attracted to light, sound and voice, meaning players will have to keep their light turned off (Gummy Flashlight users will have to make sure their light isn't fully charged) while not making too much noise. The noises it is attracted to include sprinting, shaking the Gummy Flashlight and the player's microphone. When it has been alerted to a player, it will quickly move over to them, making childish giggling sounds or make a red version of A-120's warning if you are using deaf mode, and rapidly damage them until they die, hide, or stop making noise. The actual damage is just a hitbox that hurts you whenever you are in it, meaning you can get damaged by standing too close to it even while unattracted, though this is disabled when hiding. Pnevma ignores hiding players, regardless of whether or not it has spotted them.
It is possible that there can be more than one instance of Pnevma, though the maximum amount of which is only four. Players with administrator privileges are able to spawn more than four instances of said entity. Pnevma is the only entity capable of physically dying. The Scribble Family can kill it by being close to it, which will prompt the skull to lose its eyes and fall down, losing its jaw in the progress.
The Player can also kill Pnevma themselves by slamming the locker door into them. To do this, Pnevma must first be in close proximity of the hiding player's locker, secondly, you need to hold sprint in the locker for it to work, and then, once the player exits the locker, they will promptly slam the locker open into Pnevma, breaking and killing it and generating A-40's jumpscare noise. A locker slam requires 80 stamina in order to work, but if the player doesn't have enough stamina, they will take 80 damage instead, so make sure to only do this if you're sure you have enough stamina.
Pnevma is the only entity in Rooms & Doors that will chase players for attempting to chat or take a screenshot. A-60 and A-60' can't kill it, just Scribbles.
How to Survive
You will know if Pnevma has spawned by it's constant and audible clicking, or the same audio signals that A-120 and A-40 use. Having the Envy charm equipped makes it so you have a chance to get a warning for A-100. When it has spawned, make sure your flashlight is turned off before progressing, or if you have a Gummy Flashlight, you will have to wait until it is below 50% charge, and make sure you're not shaking it while it is near, however, you can click right click once and Pnevma (sometimes) won't detect you. If you're lost trying to go to the next room, quickly turn on and off your flashlight in the direction of the room's exit. Plus, make sure you don't sprint while close to it if you don't have the Sloth charm equipped. It may also be avoided by pointing your light somewhere it cannot see.
However, if you cannot avoid Pnevma no matter what you do, stop moving and look for a hiding spot. It will stop damaging you once you go inside of one. If it starts attacking you as soon as you exit out of your spot, make sure to move out of the way, as it attacks players who get too close to it. If any scribbles are present during its attack, the scribble will scream before killing Pnevma. Though, if it at any time a checkpoint room is reach or the room A-999, all Pnevmas will automatically die, replacing their old texture with the same one that victims of A-60 have, even playing its kill sound.
Having the Sloth charm equipped allows you to easily run past Pnevma without getting detected, as the charm makes your footsteps quieter, meaning Pnevma can't hear you sprinting.
Scanner
The Scanner will turn on Silent Running while A-100 is spawned, but it will lose battery power 5x faster.
Trivia
- Pnevma is one of the 4 entities (the other 3 entities being Kalypto, Red Skull and Shell) to be 3D.
- The drawing Pnevma has in the death screen is the same skull drawing shown in the lobby.
- This is either a placeholder - a coincidence - or just a reference to the skull drawing in the lobby.
- Pnevma will ignore hiding players, regardless of whether or not it has spotted them beforehand.
- Having the Scanner and Sloth Charm equipped at the same time makes Pnevma unable to detect you in any way.
- Pnevma is the second entity that will chase players who use Roblox's client functions, such as chatting, using in-game voice chat, and taking a photo. The first entity to have these unique features is Red Skull (with the exception of voice chat).
- Pnevma is the only entity besides The Void that does not despawn at all.
- Before the update that made Pnevma spawn naturally, it was only spawnable by admins. Exclusive to this version of the entity, it will play the bad to the bone guitar riff when killing a player.
- A video of this in action is available here.
- Pnevma seems to be a modified version of the Jabber Skull model created by BeezelduD on Roblox.
- Pnevma means Spirit in Greek
- Pnevma gets more common after each 100th room, this stops at room A-400 as Pnevma reached its highest spawn chance.
- In an update now getting out of the locker won’t kill Pnevma, now, you need to hold down the sprint button in the locker and then get out of the locker to kill Pnevma.
- Doing so will break the locker, making The Multimonster, The Multimonster Prime and other entities that require lockers or tables to be avoided very dangerous.
- To prevent Pnevma from hearing you without voice chat, just turn off the microphone permissions for Roblox, or turn off the "Monsters hear microphone" option in the ingame settings.
- Pnevma might be remodeled in the future
- The Scream that plays when Pnevma dies is not emitted by Pnevma but instead the scribble.
- Pnevma is the only server-sided entity.
- Pnevma CANNOT be killed if Shell was occupying a locker, unless if you enter it. Re-enter it again. then use the locker on Pnevma.
- Pnevma has a official UGC that gives the player a Vanity Charm when equipped and can also be used with other charms.
