Red Skull (also known as "Teleporter" according to its filename) is one of the 14 entities in Rooms & Doors that acts as a failsafe for when something goes wrong (i.e. failed room generation & players going out of bounds). It tries to prevent exploiting, and also teleports players to A-20 if they are far behind.
Appearance
Red Skull takes on the appearance of, as the name might suggest, a large, somewhat glitchy red skull with black-dark red eye sockets. It also looks like A-100, but red instead of white.
Possible ways to encounter
- The Red Skull can sometimes be encountered by going to the Roblox menu's Report section and typing something in it, this is likely due to a bug in the anticheat.
- You can also encounter the Red Skull by going into The Void (A-10) before Door A-20 has been opened.
- If you use exploits, the entity will (MOST LIKELY) appear, since it's main purpose is stopping players from exploiting.
- It can also be encountered by having extremely bad ping.
- If you ever manage to break the game, like getting stuck in a specific spot (the anticheat will detect it as fly-hack) Red Skull will spawn.
- If you take a screenshot or change your mouse sensitivity, Red Skull will spawn and send you to The Serious Room (According to Trivia)
Mechanics
Red Skull has four main functions: preventing players from falling out of the map, teleporting players to a new room when room generation fails, preventing players from exploiting, and teleporting players to Room A-20 if they fall behind. If you trigger Red Skull due to the use of cheating software, you will be sent to a special room denoted as The Serious Room. Otherwise, if you are not exploiting, you'll just be transported to the most recently opened room. When triggered, it will jumpscare the player. If you manage to go into The Void (A-10) without being killed, that will trigger the entity.
Red Skull's jumpscare is it approaching towards you before opening its jaw and biting you. During this jump scare, your camera is locked and automatically faces the entity.
You can also rarely trigger this entity by slamming doors open and immediately running through the next room, though this method depends on your internet connection and how fast the game generates said room.
How to Survive
Red Skull can be avoided by not exploiting and not glitching out of bounds. It does not cause any danger in any way though.
However, if it was an avoidable entity, it most likely would be near impossible to avoid.
There might be a way to avoid it. if you simply do not turn back. keep going through the rooms. and do not fall behind.
The Red Skull deals about 10 or 20 (guessing) damage to the player (if you cause a glitch) so you can survive it if you have like 25 or more health, you cant survive it by exploiting (again another guess) because it (might) insta-kills you.
Trivia
- When Red Skull was added, the lobby's left wall had no collision, meaning you could walk through it and easily trigger the entity.
- Having an unstable internet connection increases the likelihood of triggering this entity.
- The room Red Skull transports you to when exploiting is based off of Stanley Parable's "The Serious Room".
- A YouTube video of this being shown in action is available, here.
- You can still be sent to the Serious Room even if you aren't exploiting, though the chance this happens is extremely rare.
- You're able to increase the likelihood of this happening by having an unstable internet conneternet connection.
- Red Skull's function is very similar to Glitch from Doors.
- Red Skull locks your camera and forces it to focus on itself during it's jumpscare.
- Red Skull does not have an official name.
- Red Skull is a 3D Model in a ViewportFrame.
